Q: How do I place my order?

A: After clicking on the item you want, choose your color and size and wear date (or latest date you can accept delivery) from the pull-down menus. Be sure to check the size chart by clicking on the "view size chart" link under the size box.

Click "Add This To My Cart" button and verify that you have chosen the correct item/size/color.

Click "Go To Checkout". At this point you will be redirected to a secure page to enter your shipping address  and contact information.  We need your email address in order to be able to contact you regarding availability, shipping, and delivery. If you are logged in as a returning customer, this step will be skipped.

Choose your shipping method and enter any comments or wear date clarifications that you want to enter. The wear date is very important because it helps us determine availability and shipping needs.

Click "Continue Checkout" to enter billing information. The billing address entered must match the billing address for your credit card statement.  If you need to enter a different billing address from your shipping address, you do that here.  Click on the box to verify that you have read the shipping and return policies.    Enter a discount coupon code, if applicable. Enter your credit card information. The CVV number the 3-digit number located on the back of your credit card.  Enter any special instructions or comments.

Click "Continue Checkout" to see a summary of your order information. Review this information very carefully and make any changes necessary. When you are satisfied with the information click "Confirm The Order".

You will receive an email to verify that we have received your order.  We will then update you by email regarding order placement or any issues regarding availability.

 

Q: Why was my credit card declined?

A: You have attempted to place an order on our site and you know you have enough funds available on your credit card but it gets declined.   There are a few typical reasons for this. 

       1) The billing address entered does not match the credit card billing address.

       2) Your credit card is issued by a non-US issuing bank.

       3) We do not accept Discover - only Visa, Mastercard, or American Express

       4) You did not enter the correct 3-digit code that is shown on the back of your Visa or Mastercard.

Q: What happens after I place my order?

A: Once we received your order we will check inventory for availability of your item. We will contact you by email if the item is sold out or not available or if we need more information to process your order. We do not actually charge your credit card until we determine that your item is available in time for your wear date.

Q:How can I check the status of my order?

A: You can check the status of your order anytime by logging in to "My Account" on our website at the upper-right of the home page. Click View next to your item to see status notes and tracking information.

Q: Why don't I receive responses to my emails?

A: If you are not receiving emails from us it is possible that your email account is filtering them out. You may need to adjust your spam filters.

Q: How can I be confident that my credit card information is secure on this website?

A: This is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Q: Why do I need to enter a wear date?

A: The wear date is absolutely necessary in case we need to special order your item and to be sure the shipping option you chose will get your purchase to you within the time you need it. Be sure to give us the actual wear date or, if you want it sooner, the latest date you can accept delivery.   This date is what we use to determine whether or not we can get the dress to you on time.  Once we determine we can get it to you on or before the date you enter and process the order, it is a final sale.

Q.  What if I order the dress and it is not available in time for when I need it?

>A:  Your credit card is only authorized when you complete your order.  Your credit card is NOT charged until we establish that the dress will arrive in time for your wear date.  But remember, once we determine that we can get it to you by the date you enter when ordering, we process the order and it's a final sale.

Q:  I saw a dress in your catalog or on your website but you said it's not available.  Why?

A:  No retailer could possibly carry in-stock every advertised style, every color, every size all the time.  This would require many millions of dollars and probably a building the size of a city.  We carry a large selection in our warehouse but often special order the dress from the manufacturer once you place your order.  The manufacturers don't keep making the dresses throughout the season because these are mostly worn for prom and prom season is short.  They don't want to have a bunch of dresses left over to carry into the next season.

Q:  When should I start shopping for my prom dress?

A:  The best selection is available in early January.  Manufacturers begin selling out of many popular styles by the end of January--or won't get more until April or so for those that they are re-cutting.   Many customers with May prom dates think they can shop in April for their dream dress.  Unfortunarely, they find out sometimes that "their dress" has been sold out everywhere since February!  The most popular ones go really fast.  So, the earlier the better to get the most selection and also avoid the crowds.  IF YOU WANT YOUR CHOICE OF JUST ABOUT ANY DESIGNER WE CARRY, SHOP BY JANUARY!

Q:  Do you carry bridesmaids dresses and bridal gowns?

A: We carry a great selection of the most popular bridesmaids styles. We have samples in various sizes/colors for you to try in our store and place your orders. Remember, bridesmaids dresses usually take a minumum of eight weeks for delivery. Manufacturers don't make them until you, the customers, order them. Often customers find some of our prom styles also suit their bridesmaids and destination bridal needs.

Q.  Why do I have to pay a fee to try on dresses in your store?

A.  Unlike ordering a dress directly off the internet, when you shop within our store we provide a service that costs money.  In addition, there is a lot of wear and tear on our dresses.  So, during the busy prom season, (beginning February 1st) we charge a try on fee of $10 that goes toward the purchase of any in-stock dress if purchased the same day.
